august 82 run of show's are getting seeded at shn/flac this week.08-03-82 is up and running now..08-06-82 sometime 2-morrow.sbd source with charlie miller upgrade and transfer's.this is a great run of dead show's,the boy's are on it for the whole run.go stream the shows and then get em if you don't have them.don't forget to thank your uploader.sweet show's and killer quality....so why are you still reading my babble go listen.enjoy

Maybe a warm up for the August run, but the July 27 Red Rocks is mighty fine. Outstanding Peggy O (to add to earlier post), even though Jerry has Peggy refusing to marry herself. Sugaree, which I have blastin now, simply rocks the place (pun intended).

I drove from NJ to Alpine Valley that summer and jez wasn't that the best tour ever, flying under the cover of the locals and the cops and wierdos who came later in the 80's and so the scene was still genuine and moving every night to a different city. The hassles came when the band got more popular. St Paul was great, Jerry standing alone during Fire On the Mountain, a single spot light on him, as he soloed virtually alone, the band in awe as the audience...
